Workshop on Reading, Assembling, Analyzing, & Designing Genomic Data

This Rice Ken Kennedy Institute sponsored workshop will focus on bringing together scientists spanning multiple disciplines with interest in learning more about the rad world of genomics.
The workshop will feature keynote speakers, invited talks, and panel discussions focused on inspiring discussion and scientific engagement specific to reading, assembling, analyzing, and designing genomic data.
The goal of this workshop is three-fold:
1) Serve as a primer on these foundational topics in genome informatics for the uninitiated.
2) Encourage discussion and engagement.
3) Provide a new platform for networking and collaboration in genome informatics in the Gulf Coast region.
